Suraya Zainudin is a returnee from Japan (2006/2007) and was hosted in Aichi-ken, Nagoya. Since her return, she has volunteered in various capacities at Antarabudaya Malaysia, including as camp facilitator, event coordinator, selection panel interviewer and participated in several volunteer development activities.
In her professional life, Suraya Zainudin is a writer, speaker and digital marketer. She has worked with several NGOs including IWRAW Asia Pacific as its Information & Communications Officer advocating on women’s rights, International Rescue Committee as Caseworker for USA-bound immigrants and PT Foundation as Consultant Coordinator for gender and security issues. She is also the founder of the personal finance website RinggitOhRinggit.com and curator of the Money Stories from Malaysians book series.

Sabahan Daniel Nicholas Yap is a returnee from USA (1996/1997) and was hosted in Ohio. He has volunteered as panel interviewer on selection committees and supported AFS events and activities.
Daniel started his career as a Maths and Science teacher in a private school in Labuan. He continued teaching various subjects including English before taking on the role of an Integrity School Supervisor in Kota Kinabalu. He was appointed Special Officer to the Deputy Education Minister 1 in 2015 and later assumed the same role with the Deputy Higher Education Minister for three years. He was briefly attached to a Teachers Training Institute as its Student Affairs Officer before being appointed Education Attache (Indonesia) at the Ministry of Education and later Assistant Director at the Sabah State Education Department, where he now oversees the Strategic and Quality Management Unit.
Daniel is also a qualified umpire with the Badminton Association of Malaysia.
