Nadia Samsudin has over 9 years of experience with AFS Malaysia. Having heard about AFS Malaysia from her cousins who went on exchange to Italy and Spain, Nadia was drawn to the spirit of volunteerism and their experiences abroad as AFS returnees . Soon after, she started her journey with AFS Malaysia as the YES Programs Specialist in 2014.
Her bubbly demeanour has made Nadia an excellent support staff for the Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) exchange students in Malaysia and abroad. She has also coordinated the successful placement of many students in their semester and year abroad till date.
Prior to joining AFS Malaysia, Nadia was a talented graphic designer for a local Interactive Exhibit Company in Kuala Lumpur. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Multimedia from Multimedia University, Cyberjaya, Malaysia.
In her free time, Nadia enjoys watching dramas, especially chick-flicks. She also runs a small online business on Instagram called BloomingMelur, where she makes wedding gifts (hantaran) and wedding door gifts.
