Daniel Obst, President and CEO of AFS Intercultural Programs, sent a New Year message to all AFS volunteers:
“I would like to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation for your support to AFS and our mission of intercultural learning throughout the year.
This has been a challenging year for the whole world and the AFS community is no different. Despite the challenges, it has also been a year of incredible accomplishments, one in which our young exchange students demonstrated tremendous solidarity and strength, our volunteers and staff did heroic work, and our alumni stepped up to join the frontlines of the fight against the pandemic.
We look forward to impacting the lives of more young people, families and communities together with you in 2021.
