AFS Antarabudaya Malaysia (formerly known as AFS Malaysia), a non-profit organization, dealing with intercultural student exchange programmes, is seeking suitably qualified, self-motivated, dedicated and dynamic candidates for the following position to work at the National Office.
PR, Promotions & Marketing Executive
Responsibilities:
You will report to the National Director and the Development Senior Executive of the National Office. The PR, Promotions & Marketing Executive will have to service our Corporate Sponsors as well as implementing Marketing Plan and organize Publicity events for the organization within the policy and programme guidelines of AFS International in Malaysia. In order to fulfil these responsibilities, the PR, Promotions & Marketing Executive must work in close cooperation with the National Office staff, the AFS Board, Corporate Sponsors, Chapters and Schools in the country.
Other functions include writing media releases, speeches and messages, maintain, update and manage internal communications and internal events/activities.
Requirements:
- A degree specializing in Mass Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or its equivalent.
- Minimum one years’ working experience in communications, event management, journalism or publication.
- Good media relations and background in media industry is an added advantage.
- Excellent written and communication skills. Proficient in both written and spoken English & Bahasa Malaysia.
- Basic knowledge and skills in Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator and Flair.
- Creative and innovative with strong interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently, occasionally at odd hours and appreciates teamwork.
- Mobile and willing to travel extensively throughout the country.
- Posses excellent inter-personal & communication skills.
- Smart, meticulous and organized.
